This page explains what information SafariTrak collects, why we collect it, and how it is used. We built SafariTrak around your safety, so we take this seriously.
We use your information to run the core features of SafariTrak: showing your route, tracking your journey, sharing your location with the people you choose, sending safety alerts, and letting you message your trusted contacts.
Your live location and journey status are only visible to the trusted contacts you specifically choose to share them with. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or other third parties.
When you trigger an SOS alert, your current location is shared with your trusted contacts so they can help you or contact emergency services on your behalf.
We keep your journey history so you can look back on past trips. You can delete individual journeys or your entire account at any time from Settings.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your login details private.
If we make significant changes to how we handle your information, we will notify you within the app before the changes take effect.
If you have questions about your privacy on SafariTrak, you can reach the SafariTrak team through the Help Center in your account settings.
