These terms explain what you are agreeing to when you use SafariTrak. Please read them so you know what to expect from us and what we expect from you.
SafariTrak helps you plan, navigate and track your journeys, share your location with people you trust, and get help through safety tools like route deviation alerts and the SOS button. It is a travel companion, not a replacement for emergency services.
You need an account to use SafariTrak. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.
To track your journeys and share your location, SafariTrak needs access to your device location while a journey is active. You control who can see this information through your trusted contacts settings, and you can stop sharing at any time.
When you add someone as a trusted contact, you are giving them permission to see the information you choose to share, such as your live location, journey status or SOS alerts. Only add people you actually trust with this information.
Features like route deviation alerts and SOS notifications depend on your device having a working internet connection, GPS signal and battery. SafariTrak cannot guarantee these tools will always work, so please do not rely on them as your only safety measure in an emergency.
We may update these terms as SafariTrak grows. If we make significant changes, we will let you know within the app before they take effect.
